Interesting Facts:
They feed mainly on fish, but have been known to eat frogs, lizards, and rodents. Can stand over 4 feet tall, and are solitary, but will gather with snowy egrets.

Cattle Egret

Interesting Facts: The yellow feathering in the photo indicates this bird is in breeding plumage. These birds are primarily insect eaters.Their name is derived from their habit of following livestock. When the cattle move they stir-up insects which the cattle egret feed upon.

Interesting Facts:
They are common in wetland habitats and eat small fish, and insects. Snowy Egrets tend to live in flocks.
