All About Snowy

Egrets :

The Guide to everything

The snowy egret is a very unique bird.

As you can see from the drawing above the snowy egret is also very graceful.

Description: Snowy egrets have long necks, black legs, and a thin black bill.

Appetite: Snowy egrets eat fish, crabs, amphibians, and other insects.

Though the great egret is larger the snowy egret is beautiful just the same.

The female snowy egrets breed just once a year. Once the eggs are layed it take three to four weeks for them to hatch.

The snowy egrets scientific name is egretta thula. Strange, I know but it's not my fault.

This website was created while I was in the Galveston Bay Project for girls.
